  1. Welcome, introductions, opening announcements. Thank you all for your service this year. This will be the last meeting for several of you, and I extend a special thanks to these Council members who are cycling off: Ray Aldag, Mark Seidenberg, and Kate Wiedel. I appreciate the service of Dorothy Farrar-Edwards, Isaac Lee, and Deb Shapiro who have completed their terms as shared governance appointees and may be reappointed.

  2. Suspend admissions to the Capstone Certificate in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics and Medical Informatics, School of Medicine and Public Health. This action is effective Fall 2016.   5. Full proposal to authorize a new degree/major MS-Clinical Nutrition, Department of Nutritional Sciences, College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. The Notice of Intent for this full program proposal was approved by UAPC on May 19, 2016. After UAPC approval, proposals for new degree/majors go to the Board of Regents for final approval. This program will be a non-pooled tuition program developed under Educational Innovation and delivered as an online distance education program. Programs in the Department of Nutritional Science are up to date for program review. This action is conditional upon approval at the June 3, 2016, Graduate Faculty Executive Committee (GFEC) meeting.
