CONSENT AGENDA

  1. Suspend admissions to the named option Technical Japanese associated with the Master of Engineering, Engineering Major, School of Engineering. This action is conditional upon approval at the May 12, 2017, Graduate Faculty Executive Committee (GFEC) meeting. This action is effective Fall 2017. The program must submit a plan to reopen or discontinue the named option by February 1, 2020. UAPC Doc 2017.05.18.02
  2. Discontinue the undergraduate-level Certificate in Global Cultures, Institute for Regional and International Studies, College of Letters and Science. Admission to the certificate was suspended effective Spring 2015. One student remains enrolled in the certificate. Spring 2018 is the last term for awards. This action is effective Summer 2018.   3. Suspend admissions to the major in Landscape Architecture offered under the CALS Bachelor of Science degree (ALS 594), Department of Landscape Architecture, College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. This action is effective Spring 2018. The program must submit a plan to reopen or discontinue the named option by February 1, 2018. UAPC Doc 2017.05.18.04
  4. Discontinue the MA-Landscape Architecture, Department of Landscape Architecture, College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. The MS-Landscape Architecture will continue. There are no students enrolled in the degree program. This action is conditional upon approval at the May 12, 2017, Graduate Faculty Executive Committee (GFEC) meeting. APPROVAL ITEMS

  1. Establish the Center for Research on the Wisconsin Economy (CROWE), Department of Economics, College of Letters and Science. This action is effective July 1, 2017. UAPC Doc 2017.05.18.06

  1. Credit Hour Policy. A revised draft of the Credit Hour Policy is being provided for information. The Policy will be considered for approval at the June UAPC meeting pending University Curriculum Committee approval on May 12, 2017. UAPC Doc 2017.05.18.07
