CONSENT AGENDA

2. Automatic Consent – Minutes of the June 25, 2012 meeting. UAPC Doc 2012.10.18.01

3. Automatic Consent – MS-Economics, adding a new option: Graduate Foundations, Department of Economics, College of Letters and Science. This action is contingent on approval at the October 12, 2012 Graduate Faculty Executive Committee meeting. UAPC Doc 2012.10.18.02

4. Automatic Consent –Discontinuation of the MA degree association with the master’s level Economics major, Department of Economics, College of Letters and Science. This action is contingent on approval at the October 12, 2012 Graduate Faculty Executive Committee meeting. UAPC Doc 2012.10.18.03

5. Automatic Consent – The Certificate of Specialist in Gerontology will no longer be available to Special (non-degree seeking) students because of the challenges of making courses available to them. Currently no special students are enrolled in the certificate. This change is effective Fall 2012. UAPC Doc 2012.10.18.04

6. Automatic Consent – The home of the MS/PhD in Physiology is being corrected to the SMPH Office of Basic Research, Biotechnology and Graduate Studies, and not the Department of Neuroscience as erroneously recorded in February 2011 materials associated with the creation of the Department of Neuroscience. UAPC Doc 2012.10.18.05

7. Automatic Consent - The home of the Cardiovascular Research Center is being corrected to the SMPH Office of Basic Research, Biotechnology and Graduate Studies, and not the Department of Cell and Regenerative Biology as erroneously reported in February 2011 materials associated with the creation of the Department of Cell and Regenerative Biology. UAPC Doc 2012.10.18.05

8. Automatic Consent – The Capstone Certificate in Consumer Health Advocacy is being converted from a residential program to a distance-delivered program. The graduate/professional student version of the certificate will continue to be a residential program. Such conversions are information items to the UAPC. UAPC Doc 2012.10.18.06, UAPC Doc 2012.10.18.07

9. Automatic Consent – Discontinuation of the graduate-level Air Resources Management Certificate, Nelson Institute. This action is contingent on approval at the October 12, 2012 Graduate Faculty Executive Committee meeting. UAPC Doc 2012.10.18.08
